Only 1 day after Apple launched it's latest iPhone 4S, the genius behind the company, Steve Jobs left this world..

I paid a glowing tribute to him just when he resigned as Apple's CEO and 1 of my dreams was to meet him in person. I guess I can only do that in the Hereafter or visit his grave one day..

Rest in Peace Steve...

The world will miss you tremendously & will forever be grateful to you for all the endless ideas that you've made into reality... Ideas that enriches our lives!

The legacy of an iconic leader: Steve Jobs & Apple

On the middle of the week this week, Wed, 24th of August 2011, Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple officially resigned his post as the CEO and elected as the Chairman of the Board. The news sends a bit of a shockwave in the business and tech world, but it was kind of highly anticipated.

Jobs, who saved the company from near bankruptcy in the 1990s and transformed it into the phenomenally successful tech giant it is today, will be sorely missed as a leader and an innovator at the company.

Already, the financial markets have reacted to the news, with shares in the company dropping more than 5% in the early hours of trading.

A lot has been written about Steve Jobs when this news broke out on where will Apple be heading, but as he mentioned in his letter; "I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role."

Yes, I believe that too.. but Apple just won't be the same without him. Steve Jobs is one iconic & inspiring business leader; basically he's just irreplaceable!
